Email List for MSLA Members
MSLAmembers@yahoogroups.com is a private email list and exclusive benefit of membership in MSLA.
All members are invited to subscribe to the MSLAmembers list when they first join MSLA or renew a lapsed membership. Members will receive an invitation from Yahoo Groups to join the list, and must reply to that email to activate their subscription. Alternatively, a subscription to the list can be requested by sending a blank email message to MSLAmembersfirstname.lastname@example.org. Members are removed from the list if their membership lapses.
The email list allows our members to seek assistance and share information with colleagues in school libraries across the state.
To unsubscribe from the list, send a blank email message to:

Steps for Adding the MSLAmembers Group to Your Yahoo Account
If you are having trouble finding the MSLAmembers List on the Yahoo Groups web site, follow these helpful instructions.
Options for Message Delivery
You may visit the Yahoo! Groups web site to modify your subscription to receive messages in a daily digest or to set your subscription to “no mail”. To set any of these options, go to My Groups and choose from the drop-down list of message delivery options for your group.
Messages are delivered one at a time to your email inbox. This is the best option if you want to keep up on the latest posts immediately. Email attachments, if included in a message and allowed by your moderator, will be sent directly to you.
Messages are delivered in batches of 25 or daily, whichever comes sooner. This is the best option if you want to receive fewer mail messages and don't need up-to-the minute posts in your inbox. Email attachments are not available in digests.
No Mail / Web Only
This option puts email message delivery on hold, for example while you are on vacation. If message archives are available, this option also permits you to read messages at the Yahoo! Groups web site. Note that message archive options are determined by each moderator, and that some groups have no web message archives.
MSLAmembers List Archives
You may search the MSLAmembers List Archives at the Yahoo! Groups web site to view previously posted conversations.
1. Go to the website groups.yahoo.com
2. Click on "Sign In"
3. Enter your Yahoo ID & password and click "Sign In"
Note: You must create a Yahoo account if you do not already have one. This is not the same as your MSLA username and password. If you don't have a Yahoo account, click on "Create New Account" and follow the instructions. Be sure to associate the email address that is subscribed to our listserv with your Yahoo account.
If you already have a Yahoo account and have forgotten your username or password, click on "I can't access my account" and follow the directions.
4. Once you have logged into the Yahoogroups site, there will be a list on the left of the groups you belong to. MSLAmembers should be on that list. Click on that link.
5. Type your search term into the "Search Conversations" box at the top of the screen and click the "Search Groups" button.
