Best Book Fairs (Woburn): Part-time Driver & Warehouse Helper

2/9/2023

Job description:
We are an innovative book fair company providing our schools with a superior product and caring,
thoughtful service. We have an exciting business where we work in a collaborative, stimulating,
environment. Our warehouse is set up like a retail store. No fork lifts, no tall ladders. (We have
discovered that our work and the schedule has been very good for some young people starting work and
for retirees. We welcome applicants who are looking to work part-time with a flexible schedule. We also
welcome new workers with just a few years total work experience.
The Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) loads trucks and delivers & picks up from school sites. The Delivery
Driver also unloads trucks and puts displays in assigned areas, as well performs other tasks as needed.
Candidates should have two+ years recent work experience. We have a flexible schedule. You must be
able to lift fifty pounds. Hours are mainly weekday, daytime hours. There are some weekend and
evening hours. Must have a Mass Driver license for 4+ years with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle
Record), CORI Check, must pass DOT physical. (Delivery Drivers need a DOT medical certificate to
drive for us. If you don't have one, we will help you get one, and we will pay for the exam.) If you have
one, that is a plus. Please mention it in the cover letter section. Also, basic computer skills are a plus.
Some weeks the Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) may not have many driver hours. As a result, we then
schedule them to help with processing inventory, putting inventory on shelving and loading inventory on
display racks. People who want more hours can often have them by working in the warehouse.
