3/19/2023 It's time to nominate colleagues (or yourself!) and library supporters for the 2023 MSLA Awards! Do you know a librarian with an exceptional library program or a new librarian who is doing a fantastic job? Do you have a representative from your district, a parent group, or an administrator who has done an outstanding job supporting school libraries? Recognize their excellent work and support by nominating them for an MSLA Award!
MSLA Awards are an excellent tool for advocacy and a way to highlight school library programs to administrators, students, parents and the community. Last year, most MSLA Awards recipients were recognized at School Committee meetings and/or in the local press. MSLA Awards spotlight your hard work, impact on student achievement, and the importance of school library programs.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2023 MSLA Awards. Please take a look at the updated award categories, new awards deadlines, and descriptions on this document and consider nominating a deserving person or group - or yourself! Nominations are due by April 28, 2023.
Not sure if the person you would like to nominate has already won this award in the past? The MSLA Awards Archives page lists all award recipients going back to 2006.
